THINGS TO DO IN ZACATITOS

HIT THE BEACH

Casa Moonshine is a short, easy quarter-mile walk, or drive down a sandy arroyo to beautiful Playa Los Zacatitos. Swimmable beaches in the Cabo area are rare, but this is one of the few, and there is so much to do here.

  • Snorkel the Reef
  • Shore Fishing
  • Paddle Boarding
  • Surfing (during certain swells)
  • Whale Watching (December - March)
  • Walk or run the beach for miles

Beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers and towels are available for Casa Moonshine guests to use.

ZAC'S BAR & GRILL

This is a great restaurant just a half-mile away. Zac's Bar & Grill offers a wide variety of Mexican, American, and Italian cuisine and a full-service bar! Zac's is a great place to catch a sports game and mingle with others. They also offer takeout if you feel like staying in but aren't in the mood for cooking.

NO CREDIT CARDS. US Dollars or Pesos only.

Open 7 days a week 12pm. - 8pm.

Seasonal closure from late July to early October

ZACATITOS ORGANIC FARMER'S MARKET

The local Zacatitos community hosts a wonderful organic farmer's market every Wednesday morning. You can purchase freshly caught fish, local organic produce, artisans, baked goods, etc. This is a seasonal event from about November to May.

HIKE PUNTA GORDA

From Casa Moonshine, it's just a short (but very steep) 20-30 minute hike to the top of Punta Gorda for incredible 360-degree views of the Sea of Cortez, Sierra de la Laguna Mountains, and the stunning coastline spanning way up the East Cape and down to Cabo San Lucas.

WATCH THE SUNSET

Have your camera ready for golden hour! Whether you're sipping cocktails by the pool, having dinner at Zac's, or going for a walk around the neighborhood, the sunsets in Zacatitos make time stand still. They are magical. You don't want to miss it.
